Just returned from NYC after shooting a music video for The London Souls. We took the vision to a Brooklyn rooftop with the city backdrop… used an old 69 Firebird convertible to drive through the NYC at night, threw in some crazy time lapse, a gorgeous woman and VOILA!
If they are remotely close to you, push to make their show- you will be glad you did. Some of the tour is alongside the North Mississippi Allstars an all time favorite of mine. The music video is in the editing bay now, then off to MTV for a spring release along side their new album.
Wrapped up an epic Ski-Doo shoot for Cramer Krasselt just before the holiday bell…
Remote location, talented athletes, and extreme conditions… the days were a whitewash of fast sleds, epic snow, and only about 15 minutes of sun in 7 days. Team Kiel pulled it off- huge thanks to everyone for all their hard work……Images coming soon, stay tuned.
Off with my crew tomorrow on a 7 day shoot for ski-doo… looking forward to it! It was -30 degrees last week… Currently tons of fresh snow falling… should be epic!
Worked with my long time buddy Taylor at Burdette Ketchum for their client e-Swisher in San Francisco…
Can’t go wrong in SF, Team Kiel worked with a great extended crew out of the bay area (plus Cee Lo Green was our stand in for our truck shot). We pushed hard and laughed hard with Taylor spearheading most of the comedy… he is one funny cat. Stay tuned for some great shots from their campaign.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday.
Life is good. I am making a promise to myself that I will slow it all down, take a moment to be still, and give thanks…Thought I’d share one of my portrait shots of Michael Franti doing just that.
It’s about time the “Wild Wild West” created some of their own brown water! We are thrilled to announce the launch of Wyoming Whiskey with their distillery located in Kirby Wyoming. My team and I had a blast on the shoot in October across the state of Wyoming. The insane raw beauty of the land made my job easy. We had lots of laughs and added branding barrels to the adventure!
The owners, agency and product is all top shelf. Look forward to tasting the well crafted whiskey. The launch party is scheduled for December 1st! Game on!
It’s always a pleasure to shoot for our friends at Bader Rudder. This time we worked with their client Pfizer on tranquil farms outside of Boulder Colorado and managed to find hoolahoops and fruitloops in Denver!
It is as good as it gets. Sunny fall football. Tailgating. Family. Victory!
I made my annual pilgrimage to Clemson and took the family this year. My boys (10, 12) were seeing stars as I led them around campus and took them to all my old haunts. Our stars aligned and we had an opportunity to meet Dabo Swinney and sit on the sidelines for a Clemson football practice… I guess having season passes for 20 years pays off!
Go Tigers!
I was invited by David DiBenedetto the Editor of Garden and Gun Magazine to attend their swanky “Garden and Gun Club Weekend” on Sea Island…
Porsche was a sponsor, so they offered test driving of all their 2013 loaded models… Let’s just say the 911 is on my bucket list. G&G also coordinated a tarpon fishing tournament on Saturday, plus offered shooting at the Sea Island gun club. How can you go wrong, Porsches, barbecue, guns, and fishing………good stuff.
Saturday night, the theme was Cuba… my images were shown… My buddy Charles Gaines spoke of his travels and experiences in Cuba during durning our assignment there, and the night evolved…salsa dancing, cigar rolling, mojito drinking, and fantastic conversations flowing! They really know how to dial in all the details and create an amazing experience.
Thanks Garden and Gun. It’s always an honor doing quality assignments with you and your fresh, innovative, creative vision. Looking forward to the creative years ahead!
I would have to say Charleston is one of my top 3 favorite cities in the US. I realize I am connected partially because I lived there for a few years out of college, but to me it is the total package. There is amazing history, it’s culturally rich, the culinary scene has gone through the roof (love good food) and to top it off, there’s surf!
I front loaded a couple days en route to Sea Island and caught up with friends, enjoyed a surf at dawn, played some ping pong with my web design/marketing gurus, and topped it off with my lady flying in to meet me for my birthday dinner at a coveted new restaurant called The Grocery…
